Conversations designed to educate, inform, and connect
Understanding foster care begins with listening to the people who know it best. Our Community events are free virtual conversations designed to educate, inform, and connect our community through honest discussions about the system. Each event features guest speakers with diverse experiences, including foster care alumni, foster parents, therapists, child welfare professionals, group home staff, CASA volunteers, and others whose perspectives help paint a fuller picture of the challenges and opportunities within foster care.
These conversations are open to anyone who wants to learn more, whether you are considering becoming a CASA volunteer, work with children and families, or simply want to better understand the experiences of children living in foster care. By bringing together voices from across the foster care community, we hope to replace assumptions with understanding and encourage more people to become informed advocates for children and families. We invite you to join an upcoming event, ask questions, and be part of the conversation.
